Our Custom Builder Team personally manages the construction process from start to finish with a ‘hands-on’ philosophy. Utilizing years of experience in the construction field, creative imagination, and the latest in research and technology, they provide you with a strong, quality, and long lasting abode. This guarantees a high rate of return on your investment! Rather than discounted, pre-manufactured building supplies, we use the highest grade of materials. We offer stone, cedar shingles, 25 year fiberglass shingled hip roofs, granite counter tops, hard wood floors throughout the first floor, tile baths, whirlpool tubs, and much more as standard features in our homes. (We do not have to offer thousands of dollars in upgrades because they are already included in our homes!) As far as plans are concerned, each one is unique, and no two are alike! You will not see yourself repeated all over the neighborhood in a different color! We build with 2x8’s, 2x10’s and 2x12’s. We build 16 inches on center inside and outside. Our homes feature most or all of the following custom features:
- Architecturally designed plans, some are original from the builder’s repertory
- Heavy custom moldings throughout every home, many uniquely designed by the builder
- Construction is 16 inches on center inside and outside increasing overall structural strength, 9-foot minimum ceilings downstairs, ¾ inch tongue and groove flooring glued and nailed
- Our roofs run 12” over the exterior wall, providing more protection from moisture getting inside
- We use cementious siding which is a material that carries a 50 year warranty against rotting
- Advanced framing techniques keep the outside air intrusion to a minimum on all our homes. Techniques include special draft blocking on bonus room walls, where keeping a mean temperature is most difficult; shingles over ridge vent, which allows maximum venting of your attic area, while keeping your roof attractive, and the application of a house wrap for better insulation and moisture protection.
- Additional air returns, spray foam insulation in hard to reach areas, conscientious flashing at deck and porch areas, vented soffits and builder supervised insulation
- Energy efficient natural gas heat, always with dual controls, heat pumps upstairs, when applicable, and 50 gallon GAS hot water heaters
- Front doors are solid wood with glass, doors with leaded glass, or stain grade solid wood doors
- Windows are quality vinyl tilt-out windows
- Roofs are 25 year 2 dimensional fiberglass shingles, carefully color coordinated with our home’s paint colors
- Basements are daylight walk out, most are plumbed, framed and ready to finish
- Seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts
- Fireplaces with either stone, tile, granite or marble surround
- Double switches for ceiling fans in all bedrooms, bonus, and family room
